R.I.Heavenly Peace my Sista Girl. You will be missed. Marva and I met 52 years ago and were also neighbors. We have shared some deep conversations and life experiences together. Marva taught me and often made me eat healthy and soulful while I was carrying my second child. We have shared a many so much laughter and fun as well as pain, suffering and hurt. The last time when I came to Denver while Marva was still at home we had such a good time. We sang played my Pastors new release CD, we dance we cried, we had a fashion show with Marva changing into her beautiful dress that match the little Sista Girl doll I brought her. Marva cooked up some good food as usual, but most importantly we shared the goodness of the Lord. She showed me where she would and prayed in the mornings at the park and said that God would be waiting for her and even had the bench warmed up for her. We shared the devotional books we both read and to one another about what we had both been through and how the Lord kept us. I met Jerry an the children. I've known Rodney, Cherri and Carl ( Fat Daddy) since they where little kids. Marva know all my children as well. I did come to Denver well she was in the nursing home and I climbed up in the bed with her and we laughed, talked, took pictures and listened to music on her little speaker. I will be in Denver next week and had planned to visit Marva but God had better plans for her. I will truly miss our talks. God be with the family and strengthen their faith in you. I'm so happy that Marva and I had and have a personal relationship with our Father in Heaven and our Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ bound together by the Holy Sprit. I offer my deepest sympathy condolences and prayers to the family. Your forever true Sista Girl Carolyn Underwood- Conley. I have some pictures but I don't know how to add them.

Q: How did you meet Marva?
A: I met Ms Marva around 20 years ago when I met Cheri. I remember her being just the sweetest person ever. She was also very kind and funny. I met her again sometime later at a restaurant in Stapleton. I remember it was her birthday and she was all dressed up and looking like the queen that she was. I also visited her several times once she fell ill. At her home and also when she was admitted to the nursing facility. She was always in good spirits and had a smile on her face. She knew I was very close to Cheri and always had such loving words to say to me.
My deepest condolences to her family and friends. She was a kindred soul and I’ll always remember her as a beautiful person who loved God and everyone around her! You’ll be missed, but you were loved dear friend!
Respectfully,
Sheria S.
