My daddy and I would always sit in his hotel room and play a little game that me and him had made up. It was called " pick an object and sing about it ". I remember I would yell at him for cheating because one time he actually started an already existing song and he would just laugh at me and say " You can't just make up rules as you go , baby girl." I would just laugh and say " My game. I can do what I want," and mockingly stick out my tongue. He would always sing like he was the most talented singer of all. When the truth is he couldn't sing if his life depended on it. But I loved to hear him sing anyways because the passion he had and the smile he had while singing with me made it worthwhile to hear. I'll always miss these moments with my Daddy. I love you Dad ..

We met on Mizzou campus at my invitation to become a Kappa sweetheart. If you know Wayne he always loved making an entrance. Everybody else walked in normally while Wayne came in bouncing a basketball. He kept staring at me with his bottom lip hanging. After the meeting, he came up to me and said " What's your name?" and I replied saying "Dedee." He said " I didn't ask what people call you, I asked you what your name is." and I replied," Yolonda." Always a character.
