Obituary of Stephanie Ann Casias
Please share a memory of Stephanie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
The sun rose on the life of Mrs. Stephanie Ann Casias on November 28, 1978 in Denver, Colorado when she was born to Albert Maestas and JoAnn Casias. The oldest of two children, she had one sister, Melissa. As a child, she was always smiling and happy. She was a "fashion princess" who loved to dress up and be very "girly". Educated in the public school system, Stephanie graduated from Lester Arnold High School. In September of 1995, Stephanie united with Buddy Austin, Jr. whom she met at Blockbusters. Their relationship was a happy one, always going out on date nights and out to eat breakfast and dinner on weekends. Stephanie was the loving and devoted mother of four children, three boys, DeAndre, KeAndre, DaVante and daughter, DeJanae. "She was always loving and caring and making sure her kids were ok." She liked to spend quiet time with daughter, "Daisy" and was also very close to her boys. A woman of faith in God, Stephanie grew up in the Catholic church and remained true to her faith. By profession she was a restaurant manager. She was known for hard work, dedication and looking out for everybody. In her free time, she enjoyed family, friends, cooking, dancing, treating herself and making others happy. Her best friend was Ellsie Phillips who always loved her beauty. Her favorite color was blue and her favorite flower was daisies. She most enjoyed listening to R&B music. Stephanie was a very loved, outgoing and strong woman. She was very giving and would give you her last. She had a smile that would light up an entire room. She always looked out for the homeless people, she had a passion for helping them. To know Stephanie was to love her and she will be deeply missed. The sun set on the life of Mrs. Stephanie Ann Casias on May 26, 2016 when she passed into eternal rest. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Buddy Austin, Jr.; sons, DeAndre Casias, KeAndre Austin-Casias and DaVante Austin; daughter, DeJanae Austin, all of Denver, CO; father, Albert Maestas of Las Cruces, NM; mother, JoAnn Casias of Denver, CO; sister, Melissa Casias of Aurora, CO; father-in-law, Buddy (Connie) Brewer of Commerce City, CO; sister-in-law, Michelle (Eugene) Lawrence of Denver, CO; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
