Obituary of Devonne Burton

The sun rose on the life of Mr. Devonne Christopher Burton on September 25, 1987 in Mt Holly, New Jersey when he was born to Eric M. Burton and Lynette Lindsey-Burton. The youngest of three children, Devonne had one brother, Evan and one sister, Erica. As a child, "It was like he had been here before. He could look at something just one time and he had it, even at three when he got his first bike." Educated in the public school system, Devonne finished his high school education and graduated from Emily Griffith Opportunity School in Denver, Colorado where the family had relocated. A very spiritual person, Devonne had a deep and personal relationship with= the Lord. He was employed with Propak in the position of a builder of crates. He was known by everyone at Propak as a very funny guy who always kept everyone laughing. He was a pleasure to work with. In his free time, he enjoyed family, friends and chasing the ladies. His best friends were his brother, Evan, Allen Ayers, Blake D. and Anika Arellano. Everyone loved his unconditional love and his wonderful sense of humor. "He was funny, goofy, loving, life of the party who was always looking out for everyone." He loved to have a good time and could always be counted on to give good advice. Devonne was always there for every one of his friends and family. If you were down he would bring you up. He had that listening ear for anyone who needed it and he had a smile that would light up an entire room. To know Devonne was to love him and he will be deeply missed. The sun set on the life of Mr. Devonne Cristopher Burton on June 3, 2016 when he passed into eternal rest. Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Eric Burton of Brooklyn, NY; mother, Lynette Lindsey-Burton of Denver, CO; brother, Evan Burton of Aurora, CO; sister, Erica Burton of Denver, CO; grandparents, Christie Burton of Jobstown, NJ, Bessie Nettles of Aurora, CO and Dexter Johns of Denver, CO; nieces, Avionna Moses-Burton, Khianna Moses- Burton, Evan'ae Burton, Evon'ce Burton and Eva Paiz; aunt, Jerry Adams of Denver, CO; uncle, Dewayne Johns of Palm Springs, CA and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
