"For we know that if our earthly house, a tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. And in fact , we groan in this one, longing to put on our house from heaven." (2 Corinthians 5:1) In times like these we seek comfort. Our God has promised never to leave us nor forsake us. The grass withers and the flowers fades, yet the Word of the Lord will stand forever. In the meantime, we are embraced and secured by God during our times of grief and loss. Knowing these promises and believing them, we can know that nothing can separate us from the love of God. May God's peace being comfort to this family and their friends.
