The sun rose on the life of Mr. Steven Wesley Chubb on March 24, 1958 in Boston, Massachusetts when he was born to Eugene Chubb and Earlene Henderson. The second of five children, Steven had four brothers, David, Robin, Aaron and Richard. Steven was united in a common law marriage with Melany Johnson. He was the father of five precious children, Reasia, Aaron, Traci, Latrice and Tonya. He was a loving and devoted father. In later years, his nineteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren were an added source of joy and pride in his life. They called him "Papa" and loved him dearly. By profession, Steven was an auto mechanic. He was known for dedication and excellence in his work. In his free time, he enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends and playing pool. His best friend was Baby Charles. Everyone remembers hearing him say, "Give me two dollars and tell everybody I'm Batman." His favorite music was R&B. Steven's love, sense of humor and enjoyment of life will be deeply missed by all who were a part of his life. To know Steven was to love him. The sun set on the life of Mr. Steven Wesley Chubb on August 31, 2016 when he passed into eternal rest. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Melany Johnson of Aurora, CO; son; Aaron Williams of Denver, CO; daughters, Reasia (Myron Young) Chubb, Tonya Simpson, both of Aurora, CO, Traci Anderson, Latrice Anderson, both of Denver, CO; brothers, David Castle of Boston, MA, Robin (Pamela) Chubb of Denver, CO and Aaron Williams of Minneapolis, MN; nineteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, step-siblings, other relatives and friends
