The sun rose on the life of Mr. James Emil Smith, Sr. on March 19, 1975 in Houston, Texas when he was born to John Smith and Ester Faye Smith. James received his formal education in the public school system. He completed the tests and earned a GED. James was united in marriage with Tina Marie Rivera. He was the loving father of four beautiful children, Marissa, James, Jr., Christalblu and Corey. A forklift driver by profession, he was employed with Atlas Logistics and King Soopers Warehouses. He was known for hard work and dependability. His supervisors and co-workers remember his smile and how funny he was. They really enjoyed working with James. In his free time, James enjoyed sharing quality time with family and friends, listening to music and making music videos. His best friends were Lawrence, Myron, Sonia, Eric, Donny and Michael. They loved his sense of humor, loyalty and being down to earth. His favorite color was blue and he most enjoyed oldies and R&B music. His sparkling eyes, beautiful smile, love and enjoyment of life will be deeply missed. To know James was to love him. The sun set on the life of Mr. James Emil Smith, Sr. on August 30, 2016 when he passed into eternal rest. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Tina Rivera; sons, Corey Burris and James Smith, Jr.,; daughters, Christalblu Smith and Marissa Smith, all of Aurora, CO; parents, Johnny Smith, Sr. and Ester Smith of Rialto, CA; brothers, Carlos Bradshaw of Ft. Collins, CO, Johnny Smith, Jr. of Rialto, CA and John Bradshaw of Yelm, WA; sisters, Christal Smith of Railto, CA, Brandy Bradshaw of Sierra Vista, AZ and Amber Bradshaw of Seattle, WA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
