Obituary of Jennifer Denae Florence

The sun rose on the life of Mrs. Jennifer Denae Florence on August 14, 1988 in Pueblo, Colorado when she was born to Blane C. Lujan and Terri J. Wyant. The youngest of two children, she had one brother, Blane. A happy child, Jennifer was always laughing, "a giggle box twin". She received her formal education in the public school system and graduated from Pueblo West High School, Class of 2007. She continued her education at Metropolitan State College where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing, graduating in 2011. On July 25, 2015, Jennifer was united in marriage with the love of her life, Akeem Florence in a beautiful ceremony in the Curtis Ballroom in Denver. Jennifer accepted Akeem's proposal on the top of the Empire State Building in New York City. He remembers, "So much love, companion-ship, laughter, being silly, traveling, being best friends, everything you would want in a virtuous woman. A woman of faith, Jennifer was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. By profession a Marketing Specialist, she was employed with Black Tie in the position of a Project Manager. She was known for her bubbly personality and being an absolute joy to work with. In her free time, Jennifer enjoyed family, friends, church, shopping, reading, exercise, sports and especially boxing. Her many best friends (which included Shaterri, Cruz and many more) loved her sparkling personality and warm spirit. One of her favorite expressions to her husband and family was "I love you to the moon and back". She believed in "Pray more, worry less and in all things give thanks." Jennifer did not lose the battle to cancer. She actually beat it; in the way she lived by giving God the glory the whole way and never forgetting to give thanks in spite of her circumstances. To know Jennifer was to love her and she will be deeply missed. The sun set on the life of Mrs. Jennifer Denae Florence on December 12, 2016 when the Lord called her home to eternal joy. Those left to cherish her beautiful memory include her beloved husband, Akeem Florence of Aurora, CO; parents, Blane C. and Terri J. Lujan; brother, Blane A. Lujan; grandfather, Duane Wyant, all of Pueblo West, Colorado; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Rest in peace...Jennifer
