As Billy's teacher at LHS, I loved to watch him grow as a student, as an athlete, and he always brightened our days. He was such a joy to have in classes, he lit up the room. People loved him. I remember he even volunteered to dress up and wear a wig for a novel we were reading and he acted so silly as the main character - this was not the "typical" Billy that we knew, and he really shined. I will always remember him as a peaceful, caring, strong young man. I'm lucky to have known him. Peace be with you all and you are in my prayers.
