I am sure your memory of Clarence has created pain of losing him in death a year ago; however, do not lose hope. Keep the promise from our Creator alive! Remember__ “Your dead will rise ...Awake and shout joyfully you residents in the dust! ...the earth will let those powerless in death come to life.”(Isaiah 26:19) "He will swallow up death forever” (Isaiah 25:8). Exquisite joy it will be to see our love ones again!

Clarence Benjamin was born to both late Burnest and Pecolia Benjamin in Brooklyn, Mississippi on August 17, 1954. Clarence was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, later moving to Denver, Colorado in the early 70's. Clarence ended his journey on earth and went to Heaven on January 18, 2017 with his family by his side. He leaves behind his wife of 43 years Jackie Carr-Benjamin, 6 children: K'Naja, Shalon, Catina, Catrina, Catisha, and Catosha. He also leaves behind his sisters Rose Foster, Nancy Duncan, Pecolia Sharts-Meadows, and Laura Benjamin; brothers Carey Benjamin and Burnest Benjamin. He was preceded in death by both parents Burnest and Pecolia, brothers Charles Benjamin and David Benjamin. He will forever be missed, but we know is rejoicing and no longer in pain.

My condolence to family and friends. Perhaps the words found in 1 Cor 15:26 will bring a measure of relief to all. It reads: "And the last enemy, death will be brought to nothing." Think- If death is gone what does this mean? It would indicate that such sad occasions will not happen. This is exactly what the bible teaches and very soon this earth will be restored to prime condition (Rev 21:4) to bring about the grand resurrection that God and his son promised- John 5:28,29 May the hope bring a measure of comfort to all.

I want to offer my condolences to the Benjamin family and friends. It is a painful thing to lose a love one in death; even Jesus, when Lazarus died, "gave way to tears"(John 11: 35). It pains our Creator, too, and he has promised to bring our love one back to life__ Hosea 13:14 “From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; From death I will recover them.” then "he will swallow up death forever …"(Isaiah 25:8). I hope these words give you all comfort.
