I have known Mrs. DeGroat since childhood, as she was my Girl Scout leader. Later I met up with Mrs DeGroat again, through my childhood friend who was very devoted to her and was a close friend of her daughter. Mrs. DeGroat was a loving, kind and very appreciative person, with a deep love of Jehovah God, whose words in the Bible were very dear to her. She knew the comfort from the scriptures. Psalms 93:19 says..."When anxieties overwhelmed me,You comforted and soothed me." Revelation 21:3, 4 it says this: "God...will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying or pain." May family and friends be comforted from God's words and rejoice in the hope promised.
