The third Wednesday ladies luncheon started with Theresa Putney, Fay McDowell, and Sandra Peeples. Several years later, William passed away and Theresa invited me to take part. Everyone welcomed me in especially, Sandra. But that was how Sandra was. I was mourning his death during that time and Sandra said this to me, "girl come on in and sit down, we aren't having anything special." (You see we rotated every month with a meal at each other's home). Theresa passed away and now there are 2 of us left. Our 1st luncheon for this fall was to be at my home on 9/27/2017. I was going to make my fresh ice cream for you Sandra! I was also going to suggest that we all take a photo together "because tomorrow isn't promised to us!" Wow!
When William and I started dating we would periodically sit with Sandra and Benjamin.at many Masonic affairs. (William, Theresa, and Sandra are in heaven waiting for the rest of us.) All of this (Masonic dinners, etc) was foreign to me and she would grab my hand and pull me to the side and inform me of the different protocols. A favorite saying of hers was, "girl do I look like I care?
Girl, I will miss you, your laughter and especially your smile.

Death is an enemy of man, but take refuge in the words here at Acts 24:15 "And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." That is joyful news, in a time of great sorrow. The promise from Jehovah God in Revelation 21:3,4 "God...will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain." brings comfort to the mourner. Though I did not know, Sandra, I pray for her and your family. May you always find comfort in the scriptures from God's Word the Bible. Find further comfort at JW.org for topics and answers to questions directing you to God's Word the Bible.

Aunt Sandra, Your smile and voice I will forever carry in my heart. When I pass by your house on my lunch break and you would be coming from bowling.. and every time you would say, "hey baby you better get your butt over here, don't make me come over there to that job and beat you and i still love you". I will miss you auntie in the flesh but I know i will never be without you in the spirit! When I get out of line give me that little Sandra poke in my side like you would do when i was out of line. Love you auntie R.I.H Love, Krystal

Please accept our sincere condolences for the loss of our loved one. This is one of the most difficult things we must face in life. The bible assures us at Psalms 34:18 that God is near to those broken in heart and those crushed in spirit he saves. He also promises that we will be able to see our loved ones again. Jesus words at John 5:28, 29 tells us there will be a resurrection. What a wonderful hope! He will also eliminate all the pain, suffering and especially death from the earth. Again at Revelation 21:3-5 the Bible teaches that we anxiously await the day when we will no longer lose those we love. May these bible thoughts bring you and family comfort at this most difficult time. We Love You!!! The Goethe Family
