Norman Harris, Sr an extraordinary man that I was blessed to know. He was a legend of the Five Points community. I knew him my whole life. We shared a lot of special times. He showed me his Bible, and it was so beautiful. I had never seen anything like it. He gave me great advice, and was full of wisdom. When he was given one of many awards, his family blessed me by asking me to write his Biography. We watched two Obama elections, The Young and the Restless and the Broncos faithfully for 7 years. He told me “that story was all about sex”, and we always debated Victor Newman. I took him to see the Jackie Robinson movie. Getting his perspective about race was beyond any college course. As I write this, I am flooded with so many great memories. I will treasure them for my lifetime. Humanity has lost a good man. I know you and Gladys are together. Peace be with you my friend.
