I was so hoping I could attend but alas I will be in Denver 2 days later. My heart goes out to Edward and Adam and their families for the loss of Mom, grandmother, mom-in-law. I pray for peace and comfort for all. RiAaiza grammie loves you and even though I can't replace Ms V, I will try to be there for you in the same way. I love you all.

My Mom is the most Beautiful Woman I know. If you had the opportunity to cross her path I'm sure she first greeted you with a big ole smile that would brighten up any day. Ms. D worked tirelessly and made sure her Bill's were paid in timely old school fasion by check, envelope and a stamp. I would laugh at the fact that she would still sit at her kitchen table month by month. I going to miss her lovely laughter, her hugs as she taps my ribs, the shouting whenever I pull up to her house while the Denver Broncos are playing, the hello honeys, the smell of her hot comb heating on her oven to press her hair, the way she would walk me to her kitchen window to overlook her back yard, the way she would mess up the majority of my friends names and the list can go on for hours. One thing my mom taught me was to hold my head high and keep it pushing. I love you Viola J Duncan and until we meet up again I want you to know that I am proud to be your son.
