I knew Catina as a fellow Taoist Tai chi practitioner/student through the years. Although i didn't know her well she always had such a pleasant and sweet spirit. Her warm smile, easy manner and open way of communicating made each contact a pleasurable experience. Her presence was inspirational in many ways and her wry sense of humor will be missed by us all. i bet she is doing a full tai chi set now that she out of that chair and getting to her heavenly class without the darned Access-a-ride!! She was like sweet jazz with a brassy melodic style.

I was blessed, and always inspired, to know Catina through our nearly ten shared years of Taoist Tai Chi Health Recovery class on Tuesday nights. We shared our life stories during break and the frequent wait for transport. Her kindness, interest, sharing, and great sense of humor as well as our shared christianity have been high points of our friendship. I truly admired her love and support of family, her faith, her ability to love and her amazing bravery and strength in dealing with life. She is so missed.
