May God continue to hold your hands and keep your heads held high. Ms. Virginia was a kind lady. I remember her kind spirit; attending church at Cleaved C.M.E. Our prayers are with you.

I was saddened to read of Ms. Virginia's homegoing. Virginia and my Mother: June Brown- Lurppage were "great friends/sisters" back in the days from the fifties until the early 60s. - I will always cherish the great times my family shared with Ms. Virginia. My Mother passed in l962 and Virginia was one of the women who guided me thru this sorrow.
I will always cherish those times sitting on the porch with Virginia at her home on the corner of 23rd Downing St.
I admired Virginiar so very much and I was joyful to reconnect with her thru St. Luke's years ago.
Virginia was a lovely woman who lived a long life and was among just a handful of women left of my Mother's vast circle of friends.
Virginia is now resting in the loving arms of our Lord.
Sincerely
Bellverie (Lurppage) Ross

To the family, my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that soon God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things (will) have passed away.”(Rev. 21:3,4) May this promise give you comfort now and a real hope for the future. My deepest sympathies.
