I met Deborah about a year ago when she came to my house after learning that we were in-laws due to the union of our children. She was a happy lady and it came through in our brief conversation. At our next meeting we shared a meal after a graduation. Again, we laughed and talked about our children. We laughed hysterically about being terrified riding with Steven not Pop. Our last lively meeting was at Christmas. She was glowing all dressed in red. She came in with joy in her voice and the grandkids were filled with excitement to see her. At this time, we laughed and talked about old things. This was one of my favorite moments with her. Very happy lady. The visits to the hospital were hard because the smile I was used to was not there and we couldn't speak to each other as we once did. I believe she was fighting but God was ready for her. I'll miss the relationship that we would have had. Loving submitted.

To Steve and my cousins,
I know this has been a very trying time for us all. Debra and I were close as cousins, We had many of stories of Texas, driving back and forth in the deepest darkest part of Henderson. We laughed, danced, and partied together. She would calm me down when I was mad, which was usually the other way around, we cooked together and had just plain fun together. This is truly a hurtful, hurtful time for me, as I know it is for you all. I will miss you my dearest cousin. Please accept the condolences of the Palmer family. We love all of you.
