Jan, I miss you. We first met in the early 80s. We (somehow) keep in contact through the years. The last time we spoke was September 17th, 2020. I remember because we talked about Michelle Obama and her speech at the DNC. We had many adventures together...the most memorable one was our get-away trip to the mountains with a few girl friends. Girl, you loved to be on the go... but it had to be nice and classy places. You loved people...you never met a stranger. Most of all you loved your family... you shared beautiful photos of your family. You told me about the delicious cakes Lois make...especially the Red Velvet cake... that you brought back on the airplane that Lois made for you. Most of all I miss the long talks we had on the phone. May we meet again on that glorious day. Shirley Ballard

Jan, Missing you. I recall our packing you up for the move from your house. It wasn't a labor but a welcoming of a new friend. You told me about your husband. Your world travels, children, niece's, nephews, just everyone. You welcomed the visitors to CCF and I'm sure to this date that we have new members because of you. Jan, I'm privileged to have known you. I look forward to you welcome me as a permanent visitor in heaven. I'll see you then Floyd
