Vance was a generous and kind man of God. Vance styled my family's hair (and on occasion weave) for free on several occasions over years, as appreciation for our supporting the shop. His generosity far exceeded the support we provided.
Vance will be remembered for the service and support that he provided to his patrons, employees, students and friends, he was a pillar within the community.

Van has always held a special place in my heart! I always called him Uncle Vance. He allowed me to train in his salons while I was a student and work as a professional several years following. I learned so much from him and will always cherish our memories. My condolences to the family.

Thank you Vance for sharing your gift of love with the people of Denver & Aurora Colorado.
The first time I had to cut my head bald as a woman, Vance made that situation and process so easy and comfortable. I am forever grateful for his smile. And his boldness to speak the Word of God in his shop on Peoria St.
