My grandma was soo supportive, loving and could put a smile on anyone’s face. I remember when I was a kid me, my sister(Kiah) and my cousins(Kendra, Elijah and Kayla) would always get together at grandmas during the summertime. We decided one day that we would try to sing our way onto the Ellen show. Haha so we practiced a song and presented it to grandma Thelma. She was always so supportive, she helped us write a letter to the Ellen show, always listening to our song(which I am sure was never the most pleasant). But she listened and at least pretended to like it. She was always so supportive of us and not only said that we could do it but she made us feel like she believed in us.I love you so much grandma and I know you are sitting happy with our family up in the heavens looking down on us.

Dearest grandma I remember spending nights at your house with my cousins! We would watch movies, you would cook us dinner and we would make a mess of your house! It was so fun...mostly I remember admiring you as a strong woman. You always had so much energy and did so much for us; you never got tired or never let on that you were anyway! You fought through so many challenges and showed all of us how to be caring and strong despite adversity. Even though my heart is heavy, I know that you’re still here with us. I feel you every day guiding me and protecting me. Your love remains in the hearts of all us and we will survive you with our heads high and happiness through and through. You blessed us grandma and created such a beautiful family. I want to thank you for that and for everything you’ve done when you were here. Rest easy grandma, we will be together soon. I love you
