Obituary of Se'Maje Lamonte Williams

Please share a memory of Se'Maje to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
The sun rose on the life of Se'Maje Lamonte Williams on March 14, 2000 when he was born to the proud parents Gordon L. Williams and Shannon Nivie Bunton. He was also very close to his stepfather Anthony Jones as well. Se'Maje was the sixth of eleven children. He had five brothers; Chance Se'Vonte, Mickell, Brian, Terrance, and Lewis Denzal and five sisters Se'raeh, Azyiah, Mozelle, Brie Zaea, Lakeyia and Markie. As a child he was always joyful, playful, kind and all around just a great kid. His siblings remember him always being ahead of time, having intelligent conversations from a very young age, as well as playful and jokeful sometimes. Se'Maje graduated from DC-21 and had been an honor student since elementary school, he was truly gifted. He was the proud father of Oriyonn Lamont Williams who is eleven months old. Watching his son growing up reminded his family of Se'Maje as a kid to the tee. By profession, Se'Maje was a chef and his co-workers will remember him for always being fun to work with and always being silly but keeping it very professional at all times. In his free time Se'Maje enjoyed being with his family, playing 2k and just having fun. His best friends Josiah and Issac will remember him for being kind, caring and loyal. He was a good listener and problem solver. His favorite color was red, gray and turquoise, he loved red roses and enjoyed listening to rap music. His favorite artists were Future, Young Dolph and Big 30. A few words that come to mind when you think of Se'Maje would be “Don't Trip Chocolate Chip”, “You Kappin”, “I Love You More”, “You Gonna Eat That Cake” and “You Gonna Win”. If you knew Se'Maje and didn't love him, the problem was with you! This loving, kind, caring young man was loved by so many and will truly be missed. The sun set on the life of Se'Maje Lamonte Williams on December 23, 2020 when he passed into eternal rest. Se'Maje is preceded in death by his grandfather Keith Bunton, grandmothers Zimme Fay Williams and Earlene Bunton and his best friend/brother David. Those left to cherish his memory include his son Oriyonn Williams of Denver, CO; mother Shannon Bunton of Commerce City, CO; father Gordon L. Williams of Houston, TX; stepfather Anthony Jones of Commerce City, CO; grandmother Marsha Singleton of Commerce City, CO; aunt Shnae (Kevin) Garner-Dawkins of Denver, CO; and Brittany Williams of Houston, TX; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Rest In Peace....Se'Maje
