Hello mommy. There are many stories I could tell but I guess the main one was when you told my doctor not underestimate me and my progress in growing up. Little did they know, I was going to become the person I am today. I thank you for believing in me and pushing me to succeed in this journey we call life. My soul is hurting and at peace for knowing you're not suffering anymore. Your journey has truly began. Please continue to watch over me and our family. Guide my steps, speak through me. Working with Ms. La.Donna over the last eight years has been full of wonderful and crazy memories. Not only was she my supervisor she was also my friend. She was a wonderful person with such a big heart and was always willing to help everyone. She was also very stubborn I might add. I would numerous times try to get her to go home at a decent time but that never happened. Unless, she had something going on with her church or a scheduled Dr. appointment. We would always share stories together about our kids, her extended family, sports, what we did over the weekend and other things in general. And of course, her "husband" Luther, he was always in the mix somehow. Her baked beans were the best! I never liked baked beans until I tried hers, I was then hooked. She was always telling us how much she appreciated us and all the work we did. But in all honesty I appreciated her even more for always being there for us! I am blessed to have had such a great supervisor and friend that she was be a part of my life. I am truly going to miss her dearly, but she left me with many wonderful memories that will last me a lifetime!

La.Donna gave of herself in all that she set her mind to. She did not expect anything in return. She made the best baked beans and made every potluck at work a success. She did everything from the heart and did not expect anything in return.
She carried her money and jewelry close to her heart and many funny stories could be told about trying to find the money or jewelry.

La.Donna loved and helped her family without hesitation. She was dedicated to her church and worked tirelessly to make everything run smoothly. She is now in God's choir saving me a seat. I look forward to singing with her again.
