Obituary of Kenny Jamar Huntley

Please share a memory of Kenny to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
The sun rose on the life of Mr. Kenny Jamar Huntley on May 23, 1983, in Baltimore, Maryland when he was born to Lee Huntley and Terri Issac. Kenny had three brothers Lee, Jr., Edwin, and Elijah and three sisters Nicole, Alea, and Anissa. As a child, Kenny was a happy child who played with everyone and was such a people’s person. His siblings remember going to school and all the kids being active, but Kenny was sleeping. After leaving St. Louis, Missouri and moving to Denver, Colorado in 1991, he attended the Aurora Public Schools District and graduated from Overland High School where he played on the basketball team and ran track. Kenny was the loving father of six children Malachi, Kenny, Jr., Destiny, Layla, Kaydean, and Journee and two bonus children DeShawn and Jazmine. His daughters remember he was an incredibly fun dad who would have girl’s night with them, the boys remember going to play basketball and shopping for tennis shoes. Kenny received the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior at a young age and loved the Lord. By profession, Kenny was a Truck Driver for UPS as well as other companies. His co-workers remember him talking stuff and always joking around being the life of the party on the job. In his free time, Kenny enjoyed coaching, traveling, and eating at family member’s home. His best friends were his twin sister Nicole, Tim, Bennie, and Matt. They will always remember his smile, talking stuff, always joking, making others feel good, being a beast in the gym and being a great dad and uncle. Kenny’s favorite color was red and black, he loved roses as well as R&B and old school music. He was truly a protector to his family and friends. To his mother he was her joy, to his father he was his number one, to his twin sister Nicole he was her better half, to his other siblings he was the best big brother, to his stepfather Roddy he was the son he never had and to the rest of his family he was truly a joy to be around. This loving, caring, funny, trash talking, protector, love to eat and stylish man will be deeply missed. To know him was to love him. The sun set on the life of Mr. Kenny Jamar Huntley on June 22, 2021, in Aurora, Colorado when he passed from this life to eternal rest. Those left to cherish his memories include his mother, Terri Issac of Aurora, CO; father, Lee E. (Alisa) Huntley of Glen Carbon, IL; and stepfather, Roddy McCloud of Aurora, CO; sons, Malachi Huntley of Lakewood, CO; Kenny Huntley, Jr., and DeShawn Dupre both of Dallas, TX; daughters, Jazmine Dupre of Dallas, TX; Destiny Huntley, Layla Huntley, Kaydean Huntley all of Lakewood, CO; and Journee Huntley of Denver, CO; brothers, Lee Huntley, Edwin Huntley and Elijah Henry all of St. Louis, MO; sisters, his twin Nicole (Jamar) Dickey of Aurora, CO; Alea (Reggie) Westley of Dearborn, MI and Anissa Huntley of Glen Carbon, IL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
