I remember when you were about 4 years old, that is the earliest memory I have of you trying to sing. And sing you did, with just about every song that played on the radio. RKelly had a song out back then called "Your Body's Calling". He would say, 'your body's calling, distant lover I will be right here, so have no fear." YOU would say, 'dis, dis, lober I be right here, have no fear." Your sisters, Aisha, Roslyn and I would laugh and smile and encourage you to keep on trying and one day you'd get it. And you did, you kept on trying and even wrote and accompanied yourself on a few tracks I've listened to over and over the past few weeks. From what I heard you were still "trying" to sing. But I know you're singing with the angels now. When something didn't go your way you would say, 'too fair, too fair." Today, I'm saying "too fair, too fair" because you are gone TOO soon.
