In this time of loss, we remember Shirlyne as a gentle and generous soul who brought joy to our lives. Her thoughtful nature and friendly demeanor provided comfort to me when our families, totaling 14 first joined together in that small 3 bedroom apartment in California. As first cousins, we shared many cherished moments – she generously shared her bed with me and my sister - her energetic voice lifting up the church choir, delightful family picnics, and countless family gatherings. We are grateful for the love she bestowed as a mother, sister, grandmother, and exceptional cook. May God's embrace provide solace to the Johnson family during this difficult time.
