I count it as a true blessing to have known Mr. Short and call him a friend and role model for the past 56 years. His steadfast love and faithfulness to his family, church, and community exemplifies the best of a life well lived. To the family: I pray God gives you strength to carryon through your pain until the hurt is replaced by the solace of the fond memories that will remain.
