Devon Dewayne Camack Obituary

The sun rose on the life of Devon Dewayne Camack on March 28, 1974, in Denver, Colorado when he was born to Joseph Eugene Fobbs and Ethel Mae Ayo. The second out of seven children born, Devon had four brothers, Micheal, Sean, Dayo, and Steve, and two sisters, Aleta and Amber. As a child, he was always happy, strong-minded about what he wanted and what he didn’t want. When he was a baby, his mother always loved his curly brown hair and remembers him being such a beautiful baby boy.

Educated in the public school system, Devon graduated from Gateway High School in Aurora, Colorado.

Devon was the loving and devoted father of Devon Dewayne Camack, Jr. whom he loved dearly. Devon Jr. remembers him and his dad waking up on many mornings being silly and wearing only one sock while making breakfast. They loved spending time in the car chilling together, laughing together, and enjoying his old stories of how he used to dance. He was later blessed with grandchildren Mae, Aniyas, Arameyce, and Aiyva.

Devon had a strong love and passion for Christ.

By profession, he worked for MCI in the telemarketing department for several years. He was a man who loved financial stability and always carried a love for savings and financial growth.

In his free time, Devon enjoyed working on cars and listening to music. His best friends, Ira Lee “Big Hub”, Marlen Smith, Mike Hays, and Sean Camack will forever cherish his true friendship and serious nature. Devon was a mild-mannered man who was very reserved, but when he had to speak, he had such a gift of gab. He was loved by all the women for just being a great person and a friend to so many.

His favorite color was blue, he loved marijuana flowers, and the sounds of gangsta rap music.

Even though Devon is gone he will never be forgotten.

This kind, loving, thoughtful, and caring man will be deeply missed. To know Devon was to love him.

The sun set on the life of Devon Dewayne Camack on May 25, 2024, in Aurora, Colorado when he passed from this life into his eternal rest.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Devon D. Camack, Jr. of Aurora, CO; mother, Ethel M. Camack of Aurora, CO; brothers, Sean Eugene Camack of Aurora, CO, Micheal Camack of Arvada, CO, Dayo Ayo of Aurora, CO, and Steve Brown of Centennial, CO; sisters, Aleta Ayo of Denver, CO, and Amber Farrington of Aurora, CO; 4 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
