Please share a memory of Keo to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Keo Latel Frazier was born on June 6, 1978, in Denver, Colorado, to Sheree and Lance Sr. From an early age, Keo's brilliance shone brightly. She was a happy, creative, and loving child who devoured books, asked countless questions, and pursued her curiosities with unrelenting vigor. During her school years, Keo was not only a participant in basketball but also a leader within her church youth group. Her passion for learning never waned. After graduating from Aurora Central High in Aurora, Colorado, Keo attended Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree. In her youth, Keo dreamed of driving a Lamborghini and becoming President of the United States, parking her sports car on the White House lawn. As she matured, her aspirations evolved, focusing on enhancing the human experience locally, nationally, and globally. This drive propelled her to become an executive leader in marketing, communications, strategic leadership, brand engagement, and public affairs. Keo's dedication to helping others and giving back earned her numerous accolades, including the Marketing 2.0 – Influencer Award 2022, CWCC Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Colorado, TEDx Speaker, DBJ Top 25 Women in Business, Top 50 Minority Owned Businesses, DBJ 40 under 40, and Go Magazine’ ‘of The Pack’ and many more. Keo held several C-suite positions while remaining deeply civically engaged, serving on nearly 20 nonprofit boards and holding three gubernatorial board appointments. She was an alumna of several prestigious leadership programs, including Leadership Denver and the President’ Council for Cornell Women. As a dedicated member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity, Keo was entrusted with the role of national trustee within the organization. An entrepreneur at heart, she founded seven companies and the nonprofit New Thinkers, a think tank for creating world change. In 2023, she co-founded her eighth company, Nine and Two Agency, alongside Dr. Brittany Clayborne. In her free time, the avid art collector enjoyed playing with her dog, Zoi, organizing community events, reading, traveling, spending time with friends, and enjoying a good cigar or a good cookie. Keo departed this life on Monday, June 10, 2024. She leaves to cherish her impactful memory her mother, Sheree, grandmother Rebecca, Lenny, Keith, and Andrea; father, Lance Sr., and his wife Dawn; siblings, Lance Jr. and Chloe; and nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends. Keo's brilliance commanded any room she entered. Her smile was both contagious and breathtaking. She was an amazing, beautiful human being, unique in all aspects of her existence. Her beauty and loving spirit rest and remain with us all.
