An uncle and a friend you were to me. As far as I can remember you were my uncle Steven, giving advice, helping me guiding me, snapping back into reality. We had a bond that lasted throughout the tests that life thru in our way. It saddens my spirit to know that we will no longer enjoy one another's company in the flesh. I will truly miss the times you'd whip my hair, or the days we'd walk across campus. I pray your soul rests in peace, and I pray you'll watch over me and continue to guide me thru the journey ahead of me. Love you uncle :) -Alicia T Payne
