Mrs. Virginia Moore The sun rose on the life of Mrs. Virginia Moore on August 20, 1951 in Davisboro, Georgia when she was born to proud parents, S. J. Fort and Wynonia Hilson-Melson. Her sister remembers, "I gave her a nickname, "Tubby" and she gave Pastor Stanley Conway a nickname, "Duder". Educated in the public school system, Virginia graduated from Manual High School in Denver, Colorado. She continued her education at Central Business College. In May, 1978, Virginia was united in holy matrimony with Eddie Moore. The couple enjoyed taking their brother and his son to Cherry Creek Dam, going to the movies and to the Dog Track. She was the loving and devoted mother of one son, Edward, Jr. In later years, her grandson, Taj remembers his "kissing Grandma" being very supportive and loving.
