Corlet Webber was born on May 16, 1941 to proud parents, Emmett and Ophelia Mosley in Hughes, Arkansas. The eighth of twelve children, Corlet had four brothers, Emmett Jr., Henry J., W.J. (Willie), and Earnest and seven sisters, Evelyn, Eveleen, Bernice, Jean, Samella, Betty, and Freddie Mae. She enjoyed cooking for her little sisters and telling them what to do. Educated in the public school she attended Arthur Evens School in Hughes, Arkansas and East High School in Wichita Kansas. On May 8, 1970, Corlet was united in marriage to Lonnie Webber in Denver, Colorado. To this union six children were born, Lonnie Jr., Chris, Patricia, Rick, Olivia and Denise. Her children remember her as being a devoted mother instilling good moral values as well as instilling family values. The family worshipped together daily. She always made sure the family ate breakfast and dinner at the table together. Her grandchildren remember on every Valentine's day that she made a heart shaped cake for all of her grandchildren. She would also find moths and spiders and chased them with it. She would call everyone by Denise's name until she got to the right name. Corlet attended Park Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church and was one of the Deaconesses of the church. She was a Homemaker and in the past worked as Airport security for several years. In her free time Corlet loved going to yard sales and talking to her sisters on the phone. She was loving and caring and would open up her home to anyone in need. She had a great sense of humor, was straight forward with everyone, but mostly she loved her family very much. She will be truly missed. Corlet Webber went to sleep in the Lord on February 2, 2014.
