Obituary of Shelton Keith Larkins

Shelton "Keith" Larkins was born July 20, 1964 to the late Beverly Jo Larkins in Cleveland Ohio. He departed his fleshly body to his spiritual body on April 30, 2014 after a short illness. Keith graduated from Firestone High School in Akron, Ohio and was employed as a chef at Denver North Life Care Center in Denver, Colorado. Keith was all about his family. He enjoyed the time spent with family whether it was visiting his brothers to watch the games, BBQs, playing cards and dominoes or just sitting in the garage chatting and having a few adult beverages. He could talk trash with the best and was a charmer as well as charismatic. He had fabulous stories to tell you. Whether you knew him as Keith, Diamond, New York and of course, Godfather, he was going to tell you something. He never left you without saying his favorite, "I love you...(Bro, Cuz, Auntie, Unc, Nephew and Niecey). Whoever he was with, you could count on him to say "I love you". He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Jo Larkins, grandparents, LeRoy N. and Alice M. Larkins; uncles, Brian F. Larkins and LeRoy A. Larkins; and great niece, Bre'Asya Hunt. Those left to cherish his memory include his older brother, Kevin W. Larkins of Aurora CO; younger brother, Kurtiss F. (Tamela) Blount of Aurora, CO; aunts, Muriel J. Edwards of Kent, OH, Sandra L. Smith of Columbus, OH; daughter, Brandi Johnson of Akron, OH; dedicated nieces and nephews, Kevin, Katrel, Kandyce, Consuala and Mary (Johnathon), all of Denver and Aurora, CO; eight great nieces and nephews along with numerous cousins, other relatives and friends. Keith will be great missed by all who knew and loved him.
