Obituary of Loyce Ann Wong

The sun rose on the life of Mrs. Loyce Ann Wong on May 10, 1948 in Denver, Colorado when she was born to Bennie Watson and Eva Smith Files. The fifth of seven children, she had five brothers, Paul, Rudy, Bennie, Gregory and Raymond and one sister, Barbara Jean. A happy child, Loyce was full of fun, jolly, kind and always laughing. "She grew up in a very good home with lots of siblings. She enjoyed going to work with her mother." Educated in the public school system, she graduated from Manual High School. She continued her education at Denver Women's College. Loyce was first married to John Roy Craig. To this union were born two sons, John and Dante'. The marriage was later dissolved. She was later married to Alex Anderson. To this union was born one daughter, Brandi. The marriage was later dissolved. On May 13, 2000, she was united in marriage to Charles Wong. A loving mother, her children remember, "She loved Jehovah. Even when times were rough in her personal life, she always treated people kindly. She was warm, loving, outgoing, talkative and bubbly." Her grand-children, Jonathan, Ashante', Destiny, Justice, Dante' Jr. and Osha called her "Grandma" and loved her dearly. A woman of deep faith, Loyce was a member of Jehovah's Witness at Green Valley Ranch. "She was a Christian in the service of Christ." Loyce was employed at Steadman Elementary School in the Human Resources Department for 9 1/2 years. She had previously been employed with U.S. West. "She worked to insure all got a daily fill of what should happen day to day." In her free time, Loyce enjoyed family, friends, sewing, cooking and decorating. Her best friends, Monica Fadeyi and Charlotte Williams will miss her beautiful smile and respectful mannerism to everyone with whom she came in contact. "She lived the life that Jesus wants us all to live, doing her best to be the best wife and mother to all, especially her family every day. She will always be in our memories as long as there is a world beyond. She is resting in the arms of Jesus now and for everlasting."The sun set on the life of Mrs. Loyce Ann Wong on May 6, 2014. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Charles E. Wong of Aurora CO; sons, John R. Craig Jr. of West Palm Beach, FL and Dante' D. (April) Craig of Aurora, CO; daughter, Brandi D. Ausler of Aurora, CO; brothers, Paul (Rowena "Winkie") Domio of San Antonio, TX, Gregory Jackson of Los Angeles, CA Bennie (Henrietta) Walton and Raymond Jackson, both of Denver, CO; sister, Barbara J. Holland of CA; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Rest in peace...Loyce
