Obituary of Robert Glenn Johnson

Please share a memory of Robert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
The sun rose on the life of Mr. Robert Glenn Johnson, Jr. on August 8, 1982 in Denver, Colorado when he was born to Robert Glenn Johnson, Sr. and LaWanda Kay Valentine. The first child of this union, Robert had three brothers, Lethaniel, Samuel and Danny and four sisters, Sharmane, Sabrina, Samantha and Daniela. A busy and mischievous child, Robert was "always getting into stuff and then blaming Lethaniel." His siblings remember, "He always thought he was in charge of all of us. He was loving, caring and outgoing." His mother remembers, "He was a loving and helpful son. He loved telling everyone how much he weighed at birth. Even in his adult years, he would call me on the phone to have me confirm his birth weight then I would hear him say, "See I told you." His brothers and sisters always said I spoiled him." Educated in the public school system, Robert graduated from Montbello High School, Class of 2000. He continued his education at the Community College of Denver, majoring in Paralegal Studies where he maintained a 4.0 GPA. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army from September, 2000 to June 2001. His final rank was Pfc. He was given an Honorable Discharge from the Army and a grateful nation. Robert was the loving father of one son, Jebez. His son remembers, "My daddy never could beat me at the video game Madagascar." The two enjoyed each other tremendously. He worked at Asset Acquisitions for six or seven years as a Supervisor. He was known for being helpful and always willing to work. In his free time, Robert enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends, playing cards, dominoes and Monopoly. His best friends were Rudy and Vicki who loved him for his giving heart and words of wisdom. His favorite color was blue, he liked calla lilies and he most enjoyed rap and R & B music. His warm, beautiful smile, caring attitude and willingness to help anyone who needed it will be deeply missed by all who shared a part of Robert's life. To know him was to love him. The sun set on the life of Mr. Robert Glenn Johnson, Jr. on January 12, 2015 when he passed into eternal rest. He is preceded in death by his father, and grandparents, Ruth and Leitha Wiggins.
