Obituary of Timmonte Jawon Dotson

The sun rose on the life of Mr. Timmonte Jawon Dotson on February 12, 1994 in Aurora, Colorado when he was born to Marvin Williams, Sr. and Timmeka J. Dotson. The oldest child of four children, he had one brother, Marvin Williams, Jr. and two sisters, AuJanee Williams and Lanaya Williams. His mother remembers, "As a child Timmonte always wanted to be independent and do things by himself. I remember when Timmonte was about 1 year old and he was trying to tie his shoes, he had difficulty and I tried to help him and he got mad and screamed and cried. He never did let me help him tie those shoes. Finally, after a few weeks he learned how to tie his shoes." Educated in the public school system, he earned his GED at Right of Passage school. Timmonte had a memory like nobody you know. I remember when Timmonte was 3 years old, he loved the movie, "Friday". Timmonte could recite the entire movie and his favorite part of the movie was when they said, "Every time I come in the kitchen you in the kitchen in the refrigerator eating up all the chitterlings, all the pig feet, all the collard greens and all the hog maws. I want to eat some of them chitterlings, I love pig feet."His best friend / companion, Ja'la Garnes remembers, "When my auntie and cousin showed up at Greg's house looking for me and I was hiding in the basement and Timmonte's mom did not know it. My intention was to spend as much time with Timmonte as I could "all day and all night". Someone told that I was hiding in Greg's house. My cousin said Timmonte's facial expression was like why the heck did ya'll snitch? Timmonte's mom was looking at him." His laughter, joy and love will be deeply missed by all who shared a part of Timmonte's life. To know him was to love him. The sun set on the life of Mr. Timmonte Jawon Dotson on January 13, 2015 when he passed into eternal rest. Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Marvin Williams, Sr.; mother, Timmeka J. Dotson; grandparents, Jenna (Gregory, Jr.) Ryals and Timothy (Cheryl) Dotson; brother, Marvin Williams, Jr.; sisters, AuJanee Williams and Lanaya Williams; aunts and uncles: Gregory Ryals, III, Timmale Dotson, Timmarra Dotson, Timila Dotson, all of Aurora, CO; great aunt, Debra Jones of Oakland, CA; great grandfather, Gregory Ryals, Sr. of Brunswick, GA; aunt, Brandi Dotson of Atlanta, GA; and a host of other aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
