The sixth of nine children, Henry had three brothers, Ivory, Billy Ray and Bennie and five sisters, Dorothy, Christine, Charlene, Bonnie and Rosemary. A quiet, shy child, Henry enjoyed watching "The Simpsons" on television. Educated in the public school system, Henry graduated from Kennedy High School in Denver, Colorado. Henry was employed at Denver International Airport in the position of a prep cook. He had previously worked at Pioneer Country Club. In his free time, Henry enjoyed sharing quality time with family and friends and playing video games. His best friends were Tammy and his late friend Cosmo. All of his friends appreciated him for "being himself " and enjoyed his jokes. Henry's favorite color was green. He liked sunflowers and he most liked hip hop and rap music. Henry's lasting impact on everyone was his giving up drinking. "He was always a quiet man." His sense of humor and quiet, caring nature will be deeply missed by all who shared a part of his life. To know Henry was to love him. The sun set on the life of Mr. Henry Lee Carter on February 4, 2015 when he passed into eternal rest. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Bonnie.
