Please share a memory of Virginia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
The sun rose on the life of Mrs. Virginia Lee White on April 26, 1949 in Tucson, Arizona when she was born to Ferris C. Dancer and Geneva V. Young. The second child, Virginia grew up with two brothers, James and Ruben and two sisters, Ann and Leola. She had additional several siblings. A loving child, she was always very active. Virginia was first married to J. B. Turner in Tucson, Arizona. To this union were born two children, John and another child. The marriage was later dissolved. She was also the loving mother of Michael, Willard, Lonnie and Jermaine. The children remember she was caring and always seeing about them. On October 11, 1991, Virginia was united in marriage with Lonnie White, III. No children were born to this union. In later years, her many grandchildren and great grandchildren were a special source of joy and pride in her life. They called her "Momo" and loved her dearly. A woman of faith, Virginia was an active member of Our Faith Baptist Church. She served the Lord and her church as a Mother and a missionary. She worked in her home sewing custom clothes. She was known as a "lovely person inside and out". In her free time, she enjoyed family, friends, sewing, fishing and reading to all the children. Her best friends were Deacon and Sister Hall and a host of others. She often stated, "Always love the Lord with your heart and soul". "She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and the best friend you could ever have." Virginia was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. The sun set on the life of Mrs. Virginia Lee White on March 15, 2015 when the Lord called her home to eternal rest. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Lonnie White, III of Denver, CO; sons, Michael, Willard, John, Lonnie, all of Denver, CO and Jermaine of Omaha, NE; brothers, James of Phoenix, AZ, Charles, Rueben, both of Denver, CO, Sterl and Anthony "PeeWee", both of AZ; sisters, Ann of Denver, CO, Patricia, Leola, both of AZ and Carrie of OK; eighteen grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
