Obituary of Anthony Larmar Ross

The sun rose on the life of Mr. Anthony Lamar Ross on May 6, 1964 in Omaha, Nebraska when he was born to Freddy James and Sheba Ann Kercheval Ross. The second of four children, Anthony had two brothers, Michael and Kalvin and one sister, Tasha. As a child, he was always into mischief. "He took a while to learn to talk, but once he started, he never stopped!" Educated in the public school system, Anthony graduated from William Smith High School in Aurora, Colorado. He continued his education at Aurora Votec, earning a Bachelor Degree in Communications. On June 10, 1994, Anthony was united in marriage with Carrie Ross whom he met through her brother. The couple exchanged their vows at Crown Hill Cemetery and Mortuary in Wheatridge, CO. She remembers his loving embrace and how he loved to sing with the kids. To this union were born three children, Toni, Travis and Zoeie. Additionally he was the loving stepfather of Samm, Shane and Destinee. The children remember him playing his guitar and singing, playing Madden with the boys and telling "cheezy" jokes. "He treated our friends just like they were his own kids." His grandchildren, Kharma, Tristan and Phoenix remember "Grandpa" giving them big hugs and kisses. Anthony was employed with Meyer Logistics in the position of Warehouse Foreman. He had previously been employed with Ross Distribution. He was known for hard work and dependability. In his free time, he enjoyed family, friends, and playing the guitar in his band, "Sideeffect". His many close friends loved his beautiful smile and ability to make everyone laugh. His loving, caring and selfless attitude will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to have shared a part of this warm hearted man. To know Anthony was to love him. The sun set on the life of Mr. Anthony Lamar Ross on April 19, 2015 when he passed into eternal rest. He is preceded in death by his father; brother, Kalvin and sister. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Carrie Ross of Aurora, CO; sons, Travis Ross and Shane Gedo; daughters, Toni Ross, Zoeie Ross, Samm Gedo and Destinee Reynolds; mother, Sheba Ross; brother, Michael (Tasha) Ross of Las Vegas, NV; three grandchildren currently with twins on the way and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
