When I received the call from my God-mother, Eddie Jean Franklin telling me that Sammie had died and the gut wrenching scream that I heard in her voice just broke my heart. Sammie was such a gentle giant with a beautiful smile. I use to hold him when he was a baby and I know that this family is grieving, but because we all know Jesus Christ, he is going to see us through this difficult time. When my mother died in 2012, Sammie, in wheelchair and all, was right there for me and my family. To his wife, kids and the entire Franklin family our prayers are with all of you. To my God-mother, you already know that I am here for you. We love You guys!!! Many hugs and Kisses....Quita
