Obituary of Master Riley King Johnson
Please share a memory of Master to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
The sun rose on the life of Master Riley King Johnson on January 11, 2010 in Albuquerque, New Mexico when he was born to Brandon J. Johnson and Rachel Bishop. The only child of this union, Riley had three half-brothers, Javonte, Jermaine and Cameron and two half-sisters, Keoina and Mia. A happy child, he loved to play outdoors. Every morning, Riley would wake up and ask for his favorite breakfast, pancakes. Riley attended school in the public school system. He was in the first grade and loved school and his classmates. Riley was a member of Glorious Design Ministries in Aurora, Colorado where his grandparents were the pastors until they relocated just recently to Texas. He sang in the choir, was a part of the Sunday School and a part of the youth ministry. Riley's best friend was his brother, Javonte. They loved riding their bikes outside. Because Riley loved Incredible Hulk, he always would say, "It's smashing time." His favorite colors were green and blue and he loved gospel music, especially "Take Me To The King." Riley's most lasting impression on everyone was his beautiful smile. He loved his Aunt Jessica because they would go to the movies and get ice cream and go shopping for toys. He was a joy for so many people who came in contact with him. His grandmother, Maxine, held him as a jewel in her heart. To know Riley was truly to love this precious child of God. On February 10, 2016, the sun set on the life of Master Riley King Johnson when God called him home to soar with the angels. Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Brandon Johnson of Aurora, CO; mother, Rachel Johnson of Castle Rock, CO; brothers, Javonte Johnson of Castle Rock, CO, Jermaine Johnson and Cameron Johnson, both of Aurora, CO; sisters, Keoina Slaughter and Mia Johnson, both of Aurora, CO; grandparents, Maxine (Pastor A.P.) Chattman of Aurora, CO and Don and Carol Bishop of Castle Rock, CO; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and family friends.
