I worked with Paul opening the curb on those crazy early mornings and Paul always brought brightness and made me smile ...(And Thank you Paul for all your wisdom, good energy, great jokes and your contiguous smiles that made the mornings so much better)
I had the pleasure of working with Paul on the last day in March before curb closed down for a global break, and he told me that he would not be cleaning out his locker because he was looking forward to coming back to open the curb with me. He was always a hard worker with a positive outlook and with a smile on his face no matter what.
RIP Paul my dear friend & coworker
Your bright soul will be very much missed.
My deepest condolences and prayers to his family.

Paul was a great friend. I had the pleasure of knowing for over twenty years and working next to him the last two years. I cannot
think of one time in talking to him I didn't laugh or smile about something he said. He was a great father. A hard worker and a all
around good person. He will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace my old friend.

Paul was one of my best friends, and as I have always told people, especially here in KCMO, one of the best natural comedians I know. He had plenty of truth and depth in what he said within the confines of the jokes. He had a heart for his family and friends at all times only wanting each of us to do the best with what was given us. That orange "61" Sanford & Sons truck of his showed how he could do with what he had. I asked him why that old truck he said it what was good for hauling, and (the comedic part) it is made of steel, solid "Nobody is going to hit my truck and tear up their vehicle". I had to laugh along with him because looking at that solid old truck you know it was true, everybody was going to stay clear of it. I will miss my Classmate and Brother dearly, the only person who called my parents by their 1st names Iris and Billy, even naming my dad "Shorty Billy", but also respectively called them Mr. & Mrs. Fleming, and would visit them as part of his family. Prayers, Love and God's Blessings to you Koonce Family, Sincerely Jeffrey Fleming
