It was a pleasure to have known her. I would never forget the time we went out for lunch it was a warm and loving feeling that I needed while living in Colorado. I appreciated the way Auntie, Dana and the Girls made me smile and most importantly they made me feel at home when in their presents.

I am the first grandchild of Earline Walker. I don’t know what to say. I loved Nana very much. She was always nice to me. I always enjoyed her company. She always provided great conversation, brought me items I desperately needed, made me laugh, offered me a place to live, and loved me. I will truly miss her. This is a great loss to me.

My name is AhJah formerly known as Shannette. I am the 4th grandchild and the 2nd daughter of NaNa's oldest, Carla. I don't have many memories of time spent with NaNa during her life. However, we took a trip to San Diego a few years ago. We stayed at Lowes Resort on Coronado Bay. She wanted to see the beach. We spent many hours talking about everything; in a sense trying to catch up on a backlog of memories, info, and time. Although time is not on anyone's side, I will forever be grateful for the time (especially the last time I saw her alive) was time well spent and she left me with a wealth of great memories. Thank you NaNa. I will always love you and thank you for all the memories I do have.
Rest In Heaven NaNa.

Mom always wore purple for me, because that's my favorite color.
I asked her what I should wear at her wake she said,
"Dana you know you have to do what you do. You know you have to wear purple."
Let's wear our colors for Earline today. Wear your favorite color on Thursday February 4th.
I will always love you Mother- Dana

I am Earline's eldest child and I am almost sixty years old. My mother passed and I realized all the little things she did for me I took for granted. My mother purchased my bras until I was 54, I didn't know my bra size at 54 because my mommy brought those for me. She continued to send me the best socks, night gowns, and beautiful tops and jeans. I don't know where I'm going to get those comfortable night gowns now mommy I forgot to ask you before you went home. I am almost sixty years old and my mom was still making sure I had these things. She always worried about me especially after I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I will truly miss you mom and I hope I can find comfortable nightgowns, nice socks, and beautiful blouses on my own and will always remember you lovingly and fondly.

I Love You Sister
I love you sis with all my heart and hate that we should be apart, our love is a bond that can't be broken you may be gone, but never forgotten
I remember the night you went away the pain in my heart is every beat but I know that eventually, one day we will once again meet
There are no words to tell you just what I'm feeling inside the shock, the hurt, the anger one day will gradually subside
The loss is something I can't describe I'm really going to miss you, one day I'll be back by your side so I can hug and kiss you
Things will never be the same and though I'm hurting bad I will smile whenever I hear your name
Love always,
your sis Jean

My grandma was the best there was. I don’t have any recent pictures unfortunately but I always remember going to her house after kindergarten and she would always have my favorite show ready for me to watch. She also talked my mom out of a few spankings I was going to get haha! She always had my back! I will forever love you grandma. I’m blessed to have been able to know you. <3

Don't think of her as gone away. Her journey has just begun. Life has many facets. The earth is only one. Just think of her as resting from sorrow and the tears. In a place of warmth and comfort. Think of her as resting. Where there are no days and years. Think how she must be wishing that we could know today. How nothing but our sadness can really pass away. Think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched. For nothing loved is ever lost and she was loved so much. No more pain. Keeping you in prayer.

My mom often said some of the funniest things when she was trying to make a point. The initial reaction would be to ponder what she was saying... Then be in shock of what she said... and die of laughter for hours because it was so outrageous! I will miss those moments. I love you mom! I miss you terribly.
Your daughter Leslie
